Last Friday night (29 August) this track got released. I've been asked this question more than once on my Whatsapp about the intent of this track, So allow me to now say my piece. For the clueless ones FWYH is an acronym for F**k What You Heard. In case you're wondering who Mile is check out this and oh, he was also featured on DheDhi

Rehab has succeeding in being behind another controversial track, barely a week after Marcques' Who Got Next.Controversy has brewed over this track about whether it's a response to Cashbid's Ventilation or not. Before people start throwing shade on bloggers again, news is news, regardless if you want to hear it or not.

Personally I think that it's not a Ventilation reply but punches were being thrown. He talked about being underrated by his own team, being better than artists he ghostwrites for (hmmmm), basically about how you shouldn't pay attention to whatever negative thing that you heard about him. 

Who Got Next? Judging from this I guess Mile has next. With lines like, "..Who else you really know thats murdering niggas he writes for?" it's difficult not to create a mental list of suspects who are being addressed. 

My verdict still stands though, this is NOT a reply to Cashbid's Ventilation.


Mile had the following to say on his personal Facebook profile:

 "So my latest song in particular was meant to address personal issues within my camp with people downplaying my artistic abilities ....as well as external parties who questioned my pen ...spectators within our world of the genre (hip hop) have an insatiable fixation on Pitting artists against each other and stirring up conflicts that need not be there to begin with...which is why I am not entirely surprised at the fact that my new song has been conclusively labelled a diss track to a fellow artist and friend as far as I'm concerned, which could be the most colossal falsehood I've been unjustly implicated in...I'm a vehement believer in pushing the culture forward one way or another ...but real feuds over fighting words are absurd, redundant and counterproductive....no one of us has reached the level of success to indulge such trivial matters. And I certainly don't appreciate nor condone the spreading of rumors in regards to the issue at hand .....Cashbid is a friend and an immensely talented artist ...coexistence is necessary as artists to cohesively work towards establishing, or rather salvaging whatever vestige of our music industry that still remains so we can build on that ....that being said ....it's a matter of opinion and choice that not even the most assuaging words can interfere with ....if anyone chooses to hold on to the conviction that this was some underhanded plot to gain attention ...I'll be sure to not stand in the way .....let's make some good ass music and have the fun we used to have with this ....happy Sunday !!!.......blessings ✌🏾"

 The roots of Hip-Hop are all about freedom of expression and personally I think like the Shona phrase "anyumwa bere nderake"  meaning that if you felt you got shot then you probably did get shot. We wait and see if there will be a response to this one.

Does this mean that Mile's project "Ghost" is now close to release? Maybe... Watch this space.
